Goodbye Mr. Eko
Mr. Eko, we hardly knew ye…..and now you’re gone. Actually, I think all the people who were in the tail section of Oceanic Flight 815 (the “tailies”) are now gone. Except Bernard, whom we haven’t seen or heard this season….
I’m disappointed. I’ll watch next week, but when Lost goes on it’s hiatus until February, maybe I’ll use Wed nights to exercise. That way I won’t miss any Thursday shows (Yay Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy!)….

Arggghhhh! I missed it. We went to Mass Wed. evening and were coaxed out to dinner with another couple we know from church. The whole evening I felt like I was missing something - now I know why. What happened? I'll miss it again this week - another cub scout meeting. I've just started watching Ugly Betty on Thurs. I enjoy that one. I never miss Grey's Anatomy and occasionally catch Desperate Housewives when the kids aren't in the room.
Mr. Eko, having survived the hatch implosion (explosion?) and polar bear mauling, sets off to find his brother (the body that was in the plane that Boone and Locke found). Locke, Charlie and the two new people set off for the other hatch (conveniently located under the plane) to try to find Jack et al.
Mr Eko has flashbacks all episode, and eventually is killed by the black smoke monster...but before he dies, he tells Locke "you're next".....
There's probably a lot of detail I missed, but that was the jist of the episode.
Wed (11/8) is the last new episode until Feb - that new show with Taye Diggs will be in Lost's time slot until then.
Good, then I won't be missing it next week when I'm in our church's cafeteria with 60 screaming boys and their equally annoying parents. (kidding about the parents - most of them anyway.) Thanks for the recap. Black smoke monster, eh? That's kinda 'out there' even for "Lost".
